Za Easies Newsletter-----------------------------------------

In Easies News:
There are a few things going on I thought you guys would like to know about. First of all, There is this web site that I just built that I am proud of. Take a look! The new video is posted, and there is a links page- (please email me if you would like to swap links) and a shopping page to buy the new CD, entitled "Aspirin and Band-aids" out on Topple Records. We've also got the CD in local record stores: End of an Ear as well as Waterloo Records.

Our CD Release Par-tays! - We've got Two: One is at Club De ville on Thurs. October 18- we'll be joined by a great local talent: The Dark Water Hymnal. The other is Sat. October 20 at End of an Ear. Please join me, Kevin, Jeff, and special guest Mike Vasquez on Trumpet. He was also our engineer on this record- and without him I don't think we could've completed this record. Thanks Mike, thanks, Sweatbox Studios!

The Easies have been selected to be on a compilation record spearheaded by Brian at Australian Cattlegod Records. The track selected was "Blackbird". It's going all the way to New York City for the CMJ Music Festival. His record label has a showcase...good luck guys!

On other fronts:
Lipkin has started playing around town sola as DD Dagger. That's right. Just her, Just her guitar. Her first solo show was at Clementine Coffee on Manor Road with Ian Glock (hubby Davey) and The Dialtones. A second show is scheduled opening up for Bob Schneider at Cedar Street on Oct. 4 at 5:30. It's a benefit for DREAMfund, and I'd like you all to be there if you can. It's $15 in advance - and that gets you in + food and drinks. All for a great cause. Anything else?
Not for now I'm swamped, and tired.

Love,
DD Dagger
